Carboline Carbocoat 1342 Primer is a rust preventing primer. Use with or without topcoat. Typically used as a primer above water line on areas like superstructure, topside, deck, stores room, cargo hold etc.

Preparation & Application
Surface must be clean and dry upon paint application. Corroded areas should be pre-treated to min. St 2 (ISO 8501-1). Blast cleaning will improve quality and extend service life in more heavy exposures. Apply directly on pre-treated steel/old paint, pre-treated galvanized/aluminium or another substrate as recommended.
Mixing & Thinning
Stir well before use. Power stirring is recommended. To thin, Thinner no. 45 (White Spirit) may be used.
